Kodachrome Basin
State Park
Located around a 30 minute scenic ride from Cannonville, Kodachrome offers riders several places to explore by bike, and on foot. Just past the entrance you can head to the right, over to Chimney Rock for an easy and relaxing ride. Continuing down the main road will take you to the Panorama trailhead to the left and the Grand Parade trailhead to your right. Both of these trails are single track, open to bikers, and are shared with hikers, as well as horses. These trails are moderately demanding, and being shared use always use caution and be considerate of others. Farther into the park you will find the Nature trailhead, as well as the Angels Palace Trailhead, these are hiking only trails.
Willis Creek Canyon
and Bull Valley Gorge
via Skutumpah road
Riding down Skutumpah road offers adventurers a chance to really get away, and enjoy the peace and solitude, with stunning scenery, and incredible views throughout the ride. Although it requires more physical effort than riding around Kodachrome, explorers are rewarded with a unique experience, and the opportunity to explore Willis Creek, after an estimated hour long ride, and/or Bull Valley Gorge just a little farther up the road.
*Bikes are not allowed in the slot canyons, but you are welcome to park the bike, and explore them on foot.
